Once we'd rested, Sheila and I had a quick look around the local shops to find something to eat. We had noodles, soup and delicious tempura prawns in the Food shall, which is one of the many Hawker Centres to be found in Singapore. They are cheap places to eat and the food is good.

Singapore
Arrived safe and sound if somewhat exhausted. We had a lovely driver to take us to the hotel but there was a dispute as to what constituted the arrivals hall! I said it had to be inside and Stephen was sure it was outside! I finally found him and off we went. The drive from Changi Airport was uneventful but pleasant. Singapore is so clean and full of colourful flowers and lush trees. Unfortunately when we got to our hotel we had to wait until 1 pm before we could get in our rooms!
