Spent a couple of hours round the pool before an afternoon trip to the River Safari which turned out to be next door to the Night Safari! This too was a bit disappointing as the River bit comprised of only a 15 minute trip round the river. The rest was spent walking, however they do have some very good exhibits.
After a short rest we got a cab to China Town which is huge a much more vibrant than ours. We had a wander along Food Street (very aptly named) where the Hawkers vie for your custom.

This was our last night in Singapore and I can honestly say it's a fabulous place but very expensive. Stephen was very chuffed to have been propositioned twice by "ladies" of the night!
A few random shots.
Singapore's Temple of the Tooth (one of quite a few I believe).
So pleased to see that Tangs is still there ... they used to sell the best curry puffs in the World! I could never walk past the store without popping down to their bakery section .. Suex
ReplyDeleteWished we'd tried some. We did have a great meal in China Town though.
