From here we took a cab to the Marina Bay Sands hotel to take in the views around Singapore. Quite amazing but not as high as the Shard. The hotel can be seen in a new BBC2 programme Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby, available on iPlayer.
In the evening we had supper at the Food Hall and then got a cab to the Night Safari. Sorry to say we did find this a little disappointing especially as the cab fare was extortionate! Only managed one fairly bad photo.
Aw, shame about the night safari Di - it was recommended by Miki (bridesmaid at D's first wedding)! She visited last month and loved it ...
